OTR Drivers
Johnson Feed operates an OTR and a regional fleet to service our truckload customers. Our OTR fleet is comprised of company trucks, leased, and non-leased owner operators. Our OTR freight originates in the Midwest with our primary lanes going to the South, Southeast, Southwest, Northwest, California, and Utah. A small percentage of freight goes to Chicago and east. We focus on an out and back dispatch strategy with a majority of our backhauls coming straight back to the Midwest. This allows drivers opportunities for miles as well as optimal home time. OTR drivers typically stay out for seven to ten days, but our system allows drivers to stay out longer or shorter based on home time requirements. With over 1,000 trailers in service, we try to drop and hook whenever possible to keep you moving.
